If you live in this Province and think that low volatile oil prices will not effect you. You really don't understand Alberta. The current situation will effects us all even if your retired with no debt. If it last for an extended period we will all pay a price.

Sorry Clode but when Alberta gets a cold ? NE BC has cancer.
Came from your area working oil and gas.
You will be okay as working on compressors but a lot of others not so much.

People sitting around waiting for good deals..... . You have to be kidding me!!!! If you think you are immune to what is happening/about to happen.... you my friend are also in for a big slap in the face soon. Tim Hortons is laying people off............ Doesn't get much further down the trough than that. I would rather pay a bit more for something and pay a little more at the gas pump than live in an unstable ecenomy with people losing jobs left right and center.... but maybe im just selfish.

Too many socialists that want something for nothing or don't have the balls to go and get it. Lets take it on the backs of others!!
I would pay $10/Ltr. if my business is busy. Problem that I don't like is that our older folks on a fixed income have a difficult time! Just how it works in this part of the country..

No one is immune. Some are far more prepared than others!

Tims is bound to make changes, they are under new ownership. Not to mention there coffee blows now and there used to be about 3-4 employees now you see more like 10-12. its ridiculous to have that many employees to make a coffee or a rotten sandwich. Imagine the overhead each one of those stores have.
its no wonder they sold out. They built an awesome company and got rid of it when it started to go down hill.

I heard the low dollar and oil priced in USD is balancing out the books in Ft Mac to be profitable again.
