just looking for some clutching info on an 09 xp 163,completely stock but want to run on clicker 1 or 2 at 2000 ft and would like to be on 4 or 5 at 6-7000 ft.just wondering what guys are using for springs and clutch pinweight.
What's your reasoning for wanting to run clicker 1 or 2 at 2000 ft or 5 or 6...... Your engine rpm should determine what clicker you run. Your engine is designed to make peak hp between 8100 and 8300 rpm so u would adjust your clickers accordingly.
Its impossible to tell you what pin weight youll need because every rider/sled is different. If you want to run on a specific clicker, put your sled on that clicker and adjust you weight from there. I know with the pins and weights that DJ supplies with their kits, its 1 gram = approx 100rpm (maybe its 200rpm I cant recall exactly). If rpms are low, then reduce flyweight. If rpms are high, then increase flyweight.
