08 xp 17 on top?

I gear my 08 xp 19/51 now I wanna go 17/51, it a 162'' x. I wonder if that factory chain can take it...17 is a sharp corner and I ride hard on that thing.

17/51? holy chit....the 19t is barely bigger than the retaining washer. why do you need such low gearing?

I was nervous about using the 19 but chain doesn't show any accelerated wear that I can see....wanna sell the 49t bottom that came on your 163?

Stay at 20/51 and change the drivers if you need deeper gearing try avid products...I love their stuff very nice quality i've found.
