Any ideas on which is the best way to allow more air to my 2008 xp. I know there are kits available but would like some input on which one would be best. It seems that the side air intake gets blocked with snow and causes the engine to lose power.

Get some open cell foam and some prefilter material and use it to cover the intake. It will stop it from getting plugged with snow.

2 flowrites in the back of the airbox that attaches to your carbs works unreal.

SLP flo-rites work wonders. Some use two. I used one and that was all that was required for our powder conditions.

If you are a fanatic, you may want to snorkel to another flo-rite on the dash behind the windshield so
that you are getting cold air instead of warmer engine compartment air.

The picture is on the 08 and on my 2010 I did the same thing with another flo-rite behind the windshield (without the snorkel).
Seems to work just fine.
