08 800 r, whats the best way to get reed valves out, do u have to remove secondary

I wanna pull reeds, but to get on bolts is terrible, do u just suck it up and try do it blind or do u habe to remove secondary, and if so whats the trick to that?

remove secondary,either get the puller to hold up the top gear n chain or take off the chaincase cover.then there is a bearing holderover behind the secondary sheeves,tap it out with a rubber mallet from the chaincase side ,pull air box,loosen the reed boots from the carbs ,unhook the main gas line from the fuel pump,remove the 2 bolts holding the fuel pump down and then ur ready to get to the reeds. the closet bolt to u will b a pain to get out but try and take the reed boot off of the reeds itself and it makes it way easier,,they are a 2 piece set up so dont be worried..
