Does anyone know if a 16" wide track will fit on a 2001 800 rmk ?

From everything I've read and heard, yes it will

Yes it will, but its very tight you may have to shim the the four mounting holes to square the track up in the tunnel, best guys around for this are Mountain Magic Snomachines. They did mine, i have a 162x16x2.5 in a Gen2 where a 144x15x2 used to be.
