The way it has worked in the past is you can go to the dealer, make your best deal then choose to have 3 yr warranty and a $750 off or you can take $1500 off and take 1 yr warranty. They are valuing $750 for 2yrs of extra warranty. The better deal is obviously the $750 off and 3 yr warranty

I paid 750 for my extra 2 year warranty in February for a 2020
1600 seems a little steep?

Sorry
You are able to add warranty after the fact?
I wasn’t aware of that...
I bought mine new in February and reg price on the extra warranty was 1500.the promotion at the time cut it in half

This is probably a dumb question but the programs are probably best end of season on hold overs? Or when?

If I was buying on money alone I would buy in February to just before the manufacturer reveals. Traditionally that is when the best deals are. However there is one caveat. 2020 is a year like none we have ever seen. There will be a shortage of product for sale. Look at Cat for example. Doo is getting pretty clean. Dealers may or may not get their full allotment of 2021's. If thats the case you may not see much for deals just because of a shortage of product. Coronavirus lockdowns could play into it as well. To many variables for me skeg. I've been doing it for 45 years and never seen a year like this.

^^^ yep, with Quebecs Covid numbers spiking.......

Thats no longer the current promotion either. I think its just a 1500 rebate now on 2020 sleds.

Yeah it's crazy forsure.

Reason I was wonder about how programs work is I wasn gonna grab the sled at the end of the season and covid hit...... Fell through went back to the same dealer and the price went up $1000.

So I was trying to figure out if the programs actually changed, cause the look exactly the same to me, or did he just bump his price cause of supply and demand.

Covid is doing the opposite of what I think the economy should be doing.

But when the fool is printing money like this hold on, Inflation here we go.

Id sit down with a dealer and see what the deal you can get.
They are both good deals.
If you looking at just money, than IMO the 1500 credit on your deal is pretty good. I dunno what extra warranty is worth at the moment.
Alot more than $1500

The guys at Bowridge were getting full pop on CanAm and Seadoo this summer. Supply and demand. They even moved some product down east as peeps were willing to pay freight to get what they want. Strange indeed.

I read on dootalk that BRP is offering surplus 2020 sleds to dealers, I dunno what models are surplus, there is no mention on that.

The US took a lot of Canadian sleds from dealers this summer/fall. BRP gave dealers up here the option to transfer truck loads to the US where the demand was through the roof I was told. A lot of dealers thinned out the herd massively.
