Okay cool! How long should a quad last for usually? I am the original owner and have done all the required service and taking care of it an run all amsoil in it too. Should I expect a few more years out of it? I do use my quad for working hard though. Moving the trailer around or hauling fire...
My grizz 700 has just a bit under 4000km and the last few times I've been out it's been really warm out and when I get back from riding and check the quad over, I need to add a little bit of oil to the engine. Im not talking alot, maybe I need a 1/4" extra on the dipstick to bring it up to the...
I see on the engine ice website that they say you should prep the motor by running 50/50 water and viniger through it to clean it up. What does everybody do before putting in new coolant? Or do you just drain out all the old stuff and refill with the new and not bother flushing the system?
Will the zillas be alot better in the mud then my mudlites are? I don't want to spend the extra money on axles if I went with outlaws or silverbacks though. How are the mudzilla tires from maxxis? They look like a pretty aggressive mud tire too!
Its almost time for me to be getting new tires on my grizz 700. I have 26" MudLites on right now but are starting to wear fast. They seemed decent when they were new. If I got 28" Zillas, is it going to be a huge difference or just a bit? Seems like my MudLites dont clean out very good. Kinda...
So with these spacers, when it say 1" or 1.5" or even 2", is that how thick each spacer is or is that the pair. If I got 2" spacers, would it push each wheel out 2" or just make the quad 2" wider overall?
I have a grizz 700 and I was considering getting some wheel spacers to widen it up a bit. What is the best brand to go with and where would be the cheapest place to get them from? Im in Calgary but dont mind ordering online either. Which ever is cheaper in the end. Thanks
So is the only difference between the elite to the other just the synthetic rope? Or is it more then that. If I got the 4000lb or 4500lb (which ever they offer), would my grizzly 700 power that size of winch or would it be too much for it?
Sounds like alot like the viper winches. Im in Calgary so what would the shipping be roughly. Does anybody that has one remember the total price that they paid? And is it worth the extra cost to get the elite with synthetic rope over the max series with steel cable? Its going on a Grizzly 700 so...
As the title says, i need a new winch. Im gonna be getting either the WARN RT 3000lb or the Superwinch Terra 3500lb. For the price difference, is the WARN worth it? Has anybody had any experience with the Superwinch Terra series?
Yeah I would just go with a new bore and piston. What would be a good make to look into? Also, would I be able to install myself with the help of a buddie that works on sled engines?
Ok great. Yeah I ran into a guy last summer on the trail and he had the swamp series. Sounded pretty good. He also said he had a big bore kit on it to. Maybe that's why it sounded so bad ass! Has anyone done the big bore on their grizz 700. Ide be interested in doing that to mine if it wasn't...
I mainly use the quad for hunting and work. I dont want a pipe that is super loud. What would be a good pipe to get that is reasonable quiet. I wouldnt mind a bit of noise but not like some I hear on the trails.
I have a 07 grizzly 700 with a bit over 3000km on it. The whole exhaust system is totally rusted. The header all the way back to the tip. Doesnt look very good and when its running I can see exhaust coming out from between the block and the header and also where the pipe hooks up to the header...
Oh okay. How will do ya figure out if this is the problem then? i dont really want to take it back to the dealer for the repairs though. I want to do everything myself and save the money on their crazy shop rate. What would cause it to smoke then? Too much fuel? And the exhaust tip is black...
I have a 07 grizzly 700 with a little over 3200km on it and its not used very often now. I had it out on the weekend hunting and the during the short 1.5km trip from the truck to the stand, it didnt run very well. If i let off on the throttle at all it would sputter then just die and have a...
I did bleed both the front and rears when I changed the pads and fluid. The rotors are pretty grooved and worn. I'm thinking I need new rotors, maybe put new master cylinders in, all new fluid again and of course new pads again. What is the best brand to go with for brake parts now? Also is...
i have a 2007 grizzly 700 and its got about 3000km on it. the front brakes are not too bad but the rear are shot. they have very little to none stopping power. i already replace all the pads and put all new fluid in but doesnt seem like it was the fix that was needed. should i replace everything...
