Like title says, I have two vent lines that vent near the front shocks top mount. 2012 etec just wondering what they vent as it appears the one on the left hand side has a bit of oil scum coming out of it and leaving a mess on the floor. Thanks for any info in advance.

I don't own a 6.4 but I know other engines can have these symptoms with a cracked egr cooler so maybe get him to test that before digging deeper

Sorry for taking so long getting back with a response, I heard the float bowl level had to be adjusted. Level was set too low and engine would starve for fuel. Makes sense now and hopefully this info will help out someone in the future.

The egr delete kit I used never set off the check engine light and the truck is stock except the delete.

The EGR delete is well worth it on these engines, one less thing to go wrong. My service truck had the exact same symptoms your engine has and after doing the delete all was good. I didn't do the oil cooler at the same time even though it is right there almost in the way when you are working on...

So is this going to be a permenate closure, or just Jan 1 to April 15? not that it really matters because it hurts either way...
