Went there 2 years ago. Fantastic conditions, never road the same line twice. Almost zero avalanche danger. Very expensive bar bill though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Foothoop

Ive had a couple of close calls with my boot almost stuck. I like to have something there to hook on to when necessary, so I would not cut right off.I do like that mod kit.

Snowmobile specific vs general AST training

The sled specific is a must if you are a sledder. The cost difference is well explained by Dawn. Although it is expensive, I'd recommend you both take it together, which is what I did with my kid. Once done, you will be thankful you took it together. Zacs will treat you right.

    2015-16 Forster conditions

Rode Forester last weekend for the first time. Nice area. Saw a crazy sledder right of the cabin,, across the creek climbing the avalanche chute all the way to the top. Also saw 4 sleds playing on the same hill at the same time repeatedly . Thought for sure we would see a death. Also, Not sure...

    This is avalanche terrain!

Managing terrain and choices is key. I put this rant on another location on the website, but here goes again. I was riding Allen Creek December 28 with my two adult kids. We are AST trained. Went down to Avalanche Alley and staged for one-at-a-time. Groups of 4 to 6 riders would roll right on...

    Avalanche Awareness Rant

I generally don't rant on here, but here goes..... I was riding Allen Creek December 28 with my two adult kids. We are AST trained. Went down to Avalanche Alley and staged for one-at-a-time. Groups of 4 to 6 riders would roll right on by us ignoring our place in line and ride nose-to-tail...

best sled helmets ? dual sport

I had fogging issues with goggles so I tried full face with shield. Even had heated shield but to many cord issues, and too hot and still fogged. Got a top quality open face with a good breath deflector and top quality goggles. Works great, except when I get stuck and overheat. If you go duel...

    Info on avy bags

First bag I got was n 2013.A BCA Float 22 Throttle Bag, because it had the rip cord on right shoulder strap. Not sure if id have the talent to go full throttle and take my let hand of bar to pull it when trying outrun an avalanche, but it makes me feel safer lol. Second bag was a BCA Float 32...

    Does anyone know???

They were most likely talking about something called Pro Motion by Ice Age. It is a bolt on aftermarket kit for the rear suspension that replicates the Doo T Motion. Search that on this site and you will find lots of information.

    15 Base RMK rear suspension

For the dollars, time and aggravation, I'd say don't do it. It will always be a base 600 144 at heart. All your aftermarket work will just be tease, and you will eventually want the Pro. But I also know that will be costly! Just sayin'.....as politely as I can

    Muff Pot Mounting

I have a SledShed can on my 2013 Pro with built in cooker. Takes 20 min tops to cook anything from frozen. Any longer and its burnt. I have a regular muff pot on my 2015 Pro mounted above the HPS can on the bend like in the pictures above. Takes 2 to 3 hours to cook from frozen.

best can for 2013 polaris pro

I have a 2013 with SledShed can with built in muffpot. Vey aggressive and almost irritating sound, and is a wickedly fast cooker. Some people even ask if the sled is piped. Not sure about HP gain, but sure sounds raunchy. However, after a year it looks 10 years old. I also have a 2015 Pro with...

    2014 / 2015 Valemount Conditions and Updates

Rode Clemina Sunday and Saturday. Decent conditions up top, but landmines still available to wreck sled if not careful. Saw evidence of several surface avalanches Sunday. Had some great entertainment Saturday watching hill climb, and lots of rider-less sleds throughout.

2012 Pro Needs new motor. Suggestions?

I have been there and it is a crappy place to be. Looked at every option under the sun. Hard to believe but Polaris dealer engine is a good way to go, and offers the best "warranty" possible....even though it is only 30 km or 30 minutes....a least they usually stand behind what he sell.
