    Reverse track direction?

Putting on a used Camoplast track on my skidoo 144". I'll be riding mostly flat land fields etc. I think it's a challenger 1.75" or 2" with lugs that are sort of cupped. In the direction of the arrow on the track the cups will cup the snow and dig. I've been told it might be better to reverse...

    Snowmobile Registration

From what I have read on alberta's website, is that you don't need to register unless you are riding on public crown land? Otherwise you need to registration and display a license plate I assume?

    Shocks for 2001 ZX

I've read a fair amount of negative things regarding Royal Distributing shocks. Like the head coming off or the piston un-screwing etc.

    Shocks for 2001 ZX

Dealer says front shocks are discontinued, not sure about rears I didn't ask. Will shocks from any other sled fit a 2001 Summit 700 ZX, 144"?

APRIL 27, 2013 GOODFISH LAKE 2nd ANNUAL QUAD RALLY

My trip odo read 60.8 or so miles when I was finished, and I missed that loop at the 26 to 32km marker too. I backed tracked a couple spots, but not too far.

APRIL 27, 2013 GOODFISH LAKE 2nd ANNUAL QUAD RALLY

No sure yet. Wife wants a dirt bike so we'll see. I must have been inside for that meeting :) I was in front of Mike pulling out the sunk CanAm. Everytime I loaded up the winch to pull you could hear the ice under me shifting suprised not more people didn't fall through.

APRIL 27, 2013 GOODFISH LAKE 2nd ANNUAL QUAD RALLY

Was a pretty good ride day, could have done without the rain, my fault for not bringing a rain jacket :) Carl's phone call at the end of the day was a good way to finish. Thanks Joey/Mike for coming back and being a courier for me.

Gooodfish lake quad rally - april 28, 2012

That was a confusing part, since the rally was labelled as first, second and third prizes. I believe most people, including myself assumed that to be you had a chance to win all three with your entry fee.

Gooodfish lake quad rally - april 28, 2012

One question I did have though is did you have to buy separate tickets for the 2nd and third place cash prizes? It seems to me you had to and that ticket wasnt included with the entry fee? I thought the would draw the same ticket used for the quad three times for those prizes?

Gooodfish lake quad rally - april 28, 2012

Had a great time, took a couple videos and a few photos with the phone. The first half was a little deceiving, a lot of trail, not to many technical features . Second have had some more fun. In a week or two I would gather that slough would be tough to get through?

Gooodfish lake quad rally - april 28, 2012

Is the trail mostly dirt, or a lot of mud holes etc? Just wondering if a guy could ride it on a single tank or not. I know there is a gas station by the staging area, but if I am on the trail it doesn't help me out much :).

    2012 Snowandmud.com ATV Jamboree

Thanks for the giant red text, definitely didn't miss that response :). I didn't see it in the main post, I'd suggest putting it in there. I'll see if I can round up a couple buddies and come out and register. Looks like a blast.

    2012 Snowandmud.com ATV Jamboree

Can guys just show up and ride for the day if they are staying elsewhere locally? I have family in Rocky I would probably stay with and just drive out for the day to ride.
