I have a 96 sportsman 500 and lately i've been hearing a scraping or something hitting on the clutch cover. I haven't had time to take it off and look at it but is it maybe a problem with the clutch? I mostly hear it at low speeds. drives good other than this. What do you think? :mad:

Whats the top speed of a 1997 Polaris Sportsman 500? Also are these just as tough and reliable as the 1999s? One more thing are these good in water and mud or will the belt slip?:confused:

what is better on fuel a polaris scrambler 400 2-stroke, or a scrambler 500 4-stroke? or 400 sportsman and 500 sportsman, and also if you know, is it a big difference or a small diff.
