Wait sorry, The shim was already under the clip and i added another one. Sorry it's been awhile since i did it. Yours is the same, just checked on BRP site.
part number is:
404 137 600 They call it packing.
If it is the same as the 08, you'll already have a plastic shim on top of the clip, you can move it under. Also these carbs have fuel screws, you can dial them out 1/2 to 3/4 and try again. But i still had to remove the carbs to get to mine.
Also Timbersled has a whole package deal, lighter, sharper turning. And if you are partial to air shocks, they have a package with the Fox floats i believe.
Holz racing makes nice arms and are cheaper than stock. I prefer the sprung shocks myself. More adjustability i think. At least the x package ones. Fox floats are flat out too expensive.IMO:beer:
Like i said absolutely ridiculous... Sorry about your luck dude.:( Don't know what to tell you, except if you rebuild it get the power commander. Or burn it and get something else.
That Beaker dudes obviously a dealer if he has that info. The warranty's up and the engines toast. That sucks a$$. Buy a new one or have a (good) mechanic fix it up. Sounds like the bottom ends full of metal too, that sucks but may be flushable. These machines won't let you ride when detonating...
Like I said, my cat buddy told me. He may have gotten his info from Arctic chat. Glengine what oil do you use in your DD? I'm sure i read somewhere that the cat DD oil is questionable.
Believe what you wanna believe, but i'd point my finger at the fuel. The new M's run an elevation (high comp) head and of course require at least 91 octane. So without the octane and at lower elevation (like coming down the trail after playing up top) you may have a Detonation or 2. I'll bet if...
My 08 146" had that lift as well. I didn't notice if it was there when I bought it new. But it never worsened and I rode it harder. Lot's of jumps and tail stands constantly. Never got worse, so i assumed it was factory.
