Legally, You have to have a functioning headlight and taillight attached to your bike at all times. Their reasoning, if you have an issue close to dusk, it will put you on the trail after dark. At least that's what they told us when they were hassling a couple friends of mine two years ago.
There was a group of 5 of us out there today. There was no snow on the trails we were on and no snow on the dunes. By the looks of it, i doubt you will find any snow.
The dunes were wet from rain yesterday and they had a ton of traction, but it was hot and the normal Brule breeze and the sand...
Any quad is the right quad. I have a stock outty 800 with mudlite XTR tires and rip through there without any issues.
If you can get through the normal holes on the trails, you can get through these. They are fairly easy. I have seen only 1 quad get stuck in there in the 4 events I have...
I used to be an Xploitnet installer, and it is just the hardware. Router or no router. So no issues hooking up the wireless router to the modem. Not my choice of router you have there, but to all there own. I like the Apple Airport Extreme routers myself...
I have an 08 Tundra SR5 with 186000 kms on it. Had the power steering go on it and that's about it.
About 75000 kms were truly oilfield roads, as I live in Whitecourt close to the bad roads.
When playing, I throw my outlander quad in the back and hook onto my 31ft (34ft overall) bumper pull...
I've seen guys with a mount made up with their generator mounted to the hitch on the trailer. You would need an extension cord, but it would be with the trailer all the time, and if it fell off it would fall into the box... Or on the cab of the truck. Don't have any pics.
There has been lots of topics in the canam forums. The only Dayco to try on the outlander is the xtx2236. Not on an 800, only the 650 or 500. They wear our too fast and you lose a little performance at initial throttle.
I went back to oem and noticed the difference.
We're only 9 days away! Can't wait to see everybody there!! :)
If you have never been, not too late to join or come out and watch and join in the drags and pits on Sunday.
