I heard mongoose machine in vancouver does a decent job. Anyone else
deal with them or hear anything. I'm also thinking it took me 8 years to
get 3000 miles, maybe a regular skinny bearing crank like the original would
be good enough for another 8 years. Has anyone gone that route and had
a...
The cable looks o.k. and I did have issues with the freeplay. I had to put a different throttle block on recently and the flipper was slightly different. That issue is corrected(I think). The throttle cable goes to a splitter. There are two tors switches, one on each carb (st model). The switch...
I have a 93 exciter that hasn't been used in 2 or 3 years. Now when I fire it the throttle over ride kicks in right away. The last time I had it out it ran fine. Does anyone know anything about this?
thinking about buying a new sled soon.I like how the pro 163 handled. but I dont like polaris's history with engines blowing up. the m8 153 felt okay for the 10 minutes I rode it, though I would go with a 162. since I'm undecided
I was hoping to get some opinions to help me out. thanks.
whats the best way to pull the mag. I am picturing a plate that would bolt
to the pull starter with a jack bolt to the shaft. Is that side a tapered shaft
as well. what other precautions should I be taking? is alighnment an issue
if I might be replacing the crank? I finally ordered a service...
Thanks. Is the engine plate just a torque arm? I've got 2979.9 miles on her, were there issues with oil pumps that a guy needs to eliminate it at this age?
I'm debating what to do with my 03 800 rmk. I believe the pto side rod bearing just went. I've heard all kinds of horror stories about these engines failing shortly after a wide bearing upgrade. It would be nice to hear the good stories. has anyone had good luck with some minor repairs?
some people go all over the place, a membership is pointless. it wasn't long ago a pass was only 10 bucks. last year in the sicamous area the groomer ran
after 50 riders, and trail passes were $15. this year I heard they groom after 75 for $20. thats a pretty steep hike.
