Many years ago my uncle had problems with theft. Fed up, he put an electric fencer unit to the handle bars and frame. Never had more thefts, don't know why!!
Picked up parts for my Warn blade and winch. When I called around everyone kept saying, look at the Warn site. Warn didn't have a parts list for it. So I started looking up on line and found all the info at Montana Jacks. Talked to them direct, they were really helpful and I picked up some more...
Was able to find some hard to get items out of the US from Montana Jacks in Kalispell. Shipped it out really fast. If you are having a hard time finding stuff in the area, another place to try. Even with shipping was a deal!!
Congrats Grinder. If you averaged 10 minutes per find which is pretty normal, that is 8000 minutes or 133 hours!! Pretty cheap entertainment for that much enjoyment. And I bet you have seen a lot of great things that you otherwise would have missed. Have fun.
Geocaching is really almost everywhere. Over 2.1 million. So many different kinds and will need vitually any type of transportation to get to. I did both north of St.Paul to Ashmont and south towards Elk Point. Not much side trails north and you need to get closer to Elk Point for trials there...
As long as the weather holds will be heading to out to do some geo-caching and quadding on the Iron Horse Trail staging in St. Paul at the Iron Horse Campground. Friday and Saturday, 12th and 13th if anyone else is in the area and interested. Red F150 with Canopy.
Thanks for the pics. Does show some of the crazy stuff. I've heard of 81 year people hauling mud from their basement just hoping for more help. These people are so emotionally and physically drained. Pretty touch times for sure.
I am likely heading down to help in High River for a couple days. It really is a mess down there. If anyone else is interested there is a great Facebook set up by a couple of locals that gives lots of info. Search for " High River Flooding Victim/ Volunteer Matching". There are very few places...
I cover about 100 caches a few weekends ago in the Bellis area. Was on my own but still had some fun playing around on some of the off trail areas. The trail is really tame but the off trails can be almost anything. If I hadn't been by myself could have had so real fun! I am going to...
Hey thats the answer! Every trucker will now stop before every bridge in the US, dig out their tape measure and measure the clearance. I want to see that video on Youtube. LMAO
I am going to start off going from St.Paul to Heinsburg and back. Next one will take me North. I belive there is a way around the trestle but will have to talk with the locals for more on that. Ya, the dust could be interesting but so far its just me , so that shouldnt be a problem unless I go...
I am going to give the Iron Horse Trail a run!. I know the trail is very tame but I am going to start at St. Paul on July 9th to 11th and do some exploring and geocaching (1004 caches). There is supposed to be some great off trail riding at various spots to keep the ride a little more eventful...
That really is too bad!!!. I am planning on doing the Iron Horse Trail on July 9th for a couple days and it would have been great to ride across the trestle. Still looking forward to the rest of the ride. Heard lots of great spots are just off the trail. Also doing it for all the geocaches ( now...
