what year is the sled? The older 2005-11 M 's had lot of steering post failures. The 2012-16 have bushing problems but not much for steering post failures. All years of the m8 with adjustable posts had the sloppy adjusters.

I just used the fuel cans for reference , I used it last year to strap a chainsaw and my backpack when i wasn't wearing it to clear trails for the most part. They can be made longer but farther back more stress on the tunnel.

The canada sled parts brace isn't designed to strengthen the steering hoop , all it does is elimate the flexing at the steering post mount to prevent cracking. There's no real benefit to have a plate full tunnel width as the problem is right by the steering post mount. Canada sled parts brace...

That place is going through lot of changes, there building a cat ski lodge there for cat sking. Not sure what will be happening with sledding now.

I just changed a s and e module , one was 430.00 and one was 450.00 with bc tax. They have gone up in price.

Is it just buy the kit and install or does the exhaust can need to be changed out? Anyone install one?

It's more than the size, you have to consider the weight of the tire. I installed the dalton clutch kit on my 1000 and even with stock tires it was money well spent, I could feel it was lot faster getting to top speed.

This isn't just for trails, even if it's in the back of your truck and you get stopped you need it to have it registered . still to many flaws in the new system,government is just trying to make more money.

I seen people inflating the tires to max air pressure that's rated on side of the tire ( example 40 psi)and leave them sit for 24-48 hours and they stretch out . They were talking about the black water evolution atv tires but probably work for all tires under the advertised size.
