Just chain it to something and pull with a winch or something and it will straighten! But that does suck!

You can drill a couple small holes in a arms to make a crumple area?

That's what I'm thinking, add all the braces and try to weaken up the arms a bit.....

Just my luck I'll find another land mine....

Yes, that is the dealer installed price.....
I've looked at doing it myself but with limited garage space and time, I'm taking the easy way out this time.
Parts alone total just over $1100 and could increase if anything was missed.
You know, I'm not upset there is damage. I hit pretty hard, but jeez, why not make the arms the weak link?
Still loving the Doolaide!

its not hard to do. if you didn't hurt the e module, the s and steering brace are fairly easy to change just replace with bolts like mentioned above. i caught a rock last year replaced steering bracket, lower a arm and carbides then i massaged the s module back to place and it was under $500. and 2 good evenings in garage (12 hrs)

I just did an s-module on my 2014 xm and was no big deal at all. S module was 235$. The dealer told me it takes 7-8 hrs. I did it in my garage in about 5 or so.

I fully agree with the comments above. WHY are tha a arms so strong. Shouldn't they be the week point? Fairly cheep and easy to replace. So I did some interweb reading and I ended up ordering the grip n rip s module brace system. Has anyone tried it? YouTube has a clip of a guy that hit a basket ball sized rock and completely sheared off a lower a arm. And no s module damage. I thought it was pretty impressive.

Parts must have gone up.
S module is $420 now.....
I researched the braces and actually talked myself out of them before. I figured the factory crumple zones were there for a reason.
Still think that way but I'm bracing it up for next time!
