Just got back from Silver Sands and while the trail is like a supercross, the snow is surprisingly good if you look for it. Duck in the trees and find all kinds of things. We rode fresh stuff mostly all day.

I called Boss today, and experienced the best customer service I have had in a long time. The gentleman apologized for the inconvenience and then said to do whatever I have to do to the seat to make it last the rest of the year. After that, they would replace the cover for $50 like the others...

I broke a zipper on my first ride, and another 2 after that. Good to hear they are standing up for their product. I'll be calling them today.

Don't buy anything less than a 154" whatever you do if you plan on doing mountain riding. Experience guys can go shorter, but beginners usually do things like pin it when they should take off slow, or not give it enough throttle and the longer track gives you more of a chance to not get stuck...

Once again I realize I'm digging up an old thread, but with only 2 rides on my new Boss seat I have 3 broken zipper tabs. Doesn't seem like much, but sure makes it a pain in the ass to get into the compartment. Is anybody else having any trouble with this?

Once I got into town I phoned around and Alta-Comm Wireless Inc has 5 of them in stock right now for $169. The cheapest I found on the internet was from a non-profit group and was $149.99USD + shipping, which makes it more than buying it in Edmonton. Looks like local it is for me.

I'm heading to Edmonton as we speak and want to know if anybody has the SPOT 2 in Edmonton. Thanks for any help!
