Last time I looked it was the politicians that wrote the laws, and cops who hate writing "stupid tickets" still have to write tickets. it's part of there job whether they like it or not.
Quite frankly, if straight pipes or window tint is the worst of your own personnel injustice then you...
I read up on the differences between an admin system and the court system. I don't like the fact that the admin system using a lower standard of proof, hearsay and is controlled by statute that is created by.. The Government!
I think Id prefer my rights to be protected by the court
I totally respect that you understand your own consequences. Just remember that the cops have several options (in Alberta):
- s.72(3) VER - $57
- s.165(1)(d) TSA - $115
- Traffic Violation Notice - This directs you to take the tint off and produce the vehicle for inspection.
- Fail to comply...
Has anyone seen this? The government is looking at replacing traffic court with a traffic tribunal

What are your thoughts?
What if I told you I agree!
You have a responsibility to ask questions, learn and understand the situation. You also have the right to seek full disclosure of the allegation being put forward. However that happens at a court house not on the side of the road.

No wonder they become bitter, dealing with DB's like you who have misdirected anger.
Do you remember legal studies...

Sledderglen - You are right, this community needs to be united and rely on the direction of the association. Instead of being a bunch of whiny B.... or having personal agendas.
Pick and choose your battles Roy and...
Roy,
Your barking up the wrong tree! if you want that information you can't expect a bylaw/cop to release it. And seriously, what purpose would it serve anyway?
If you have a genuine and serious concern about something in particular, that this information will help with, then I would suggest...
I have to admit that I got annoyed at Johnsmithnf pissy attitude so I decided to find him a link that he could look up and get "ed-u-mah-kated" but instead I found that gold mine of information for Strathcona County trail system strategy.
sorry Johnsmithnf, it doesn't come in "pop up" form...
