I'm not a big Yamaha fan, I've had lots of problems with several of them they seem to be scared of getting wet! lol But the Honda, I'm sure they are typical Honda, just run perfect forever.

I just checked my '700km 06 Summit 800 and I got 155-PTO & 160-Mag, who knows how accurate my guage is though. I think the '06's had the chrome ring update. Steve

I think you're right, cause aside from a few buds no one has seen my sled. On a side note I think I need to get some slave children with small hands cause my hands are getting a little banged up yank'n this motor out! Steve

I do appreciate the advise, with it I have determined that mine is hardly bent. I still am going to fix it, replace the inner bulkhead support. I think I have come up with a real simple PTO side upper bulkhead suport (I'll take some pics once I'm done). My brother-in-law is a parts guy at Martin...

I made an attempt at straightening out my left side with a little success, the big issue is I have nothing to push/pull against. I used the starter mounting bolt but don't want to apply to much force against it. What I end up with is the PTO side pushed back about 1/4" resulting in about 1/2"...

Actually I was by specialty today and they showed me where to look for damage, they said they don't sell that PTO side support anymore, but told me exactly what you said (replace the inner brace). I think if I do it I will beef that up where I have room, as I'm sure I will hit something again...

There is a bow behind the clutch, Man I never even hit that hard. If I straightened it out, then made a plate to stiffen it say 3/16" aluminum plate. My big concern is not to bend it again or further, if I just straightend it I would now even a weaker member. There has got to be some way to...
