what was your belt deflection this will have a lot to do with performance and reliability.

these kits are very easy to make with abs pipe and can be very inexpensive. the aftermarket ones u buy are the same thing with gravelguard on them u also can do this.total materials will costabout 60.00 or buy a ready made kit for 150 to 300

the only fix yamaha told me was to snorkle it,it worked for me no more stalling due to steam.
