Water is pretty good quality. Sand bottom, shallow around the edges, not sure about the centre. Large lake though so lots of room even with lots of boats.

Depends on the design, Almita Mfg screw piles act like a screw and do not disturb the soil, whereas many other manufacturers screw piles auger into the ground therefore loosening the surrounding soil. My company does the galvanizing for Almita and I know their engineers.

You might overload it. I suggest running 2" piping away from the house. This should work with a 3/4 HP pump and handle the volume of water that can be pumped without to much head pressure.

Best solution is HDMI from Shaw Box to Receiver, then HDMI from Receiver to TV. This way you get digital quality music through your surround speakers and HD video from your TV. You need a HD Box from Shaw though.
