Gregg Distributors and Princess Auto carry 4 and 5 foot double loop slings for under $10. I carry 2 in each sled, they make great tow ropes when looped together also.

Home Depot has a good selection I got the ones with hook on one end and eye on other end then just added a nut on them to lock them have worked great on all my decks. Any bolt supply place should have what you need though.

Until the closure is in effect can you sled Caribou during the week or is it still just allowed on the weekends.

Hey Shawn the trail going west out of Etherington was the worst of the bunch, but after Baril Loop it was not too bad. Also lower trail from Etherington to Cataract was in decent shape. Had my daughter out there on the 12th and she had a blast.
