I guess I'll have to buy a turkey for fire ban season.

Oh boy oh boy, where is that dammed turkey going to sit on my little quad !

Scarey dry in golden at mo. I know people cleaning up private land of down dead and leaning trees. They were burning brush but have stopped burning for fear of being that guy ...

A cigarette lighter to a leaf on the ground and instant fire ... even in shaded areas ...

At least the forcast is rain for next week, no one likes camping without a fire.

There are some gnarly black patches on the ground all the way up to the Yellowhead between Edmonton and Maidstone.

And those poor people in Banff can't pretend to have a real campfire in a 2 foot tall fire ring.

Was camping in Kananaskis last week and fire hazard was moderate. Everything is green and lush out there.
