Hi
I just relocated to Olds AB in March of this year. I was living in the interior of BC and had a good selection of riding partners to go out with. I am looking to meet up with people in this area for the same. A quick rundown of myself..

Age: 44
Riding experience: 5yrs, and took last yr off mostly

riding style: like to explore in trees, meadows, will climb to reach the next spot. I don't sit at the base of the big climbing spot watching others. In fact, I like the areas where there are 5-6 trucks in the parking lot all day, and the most you ever do is hear the others once in a while. I am not a big jump or drop guy. I like to ride eagles, owls head, revy (if we have to) but I would really like to explore Golden, crowsnest pass and fernie area. I haven't ridden there at all yet.

riding level: riding with some great riders, I would honestly call myself an intermediate. I can get wherever we want to go, I do get stuck and need help, and I offer as much or more than I receive. I like high HP sleds turbo or not, as it tends to cover my lack of talent. Or at least it ends the suspense quicker.

sled: 2014 Pro Lite, first time I have had someone else build my sled, not sure if I am gonna like it or not

Travel: I can get me and my sled anywhere, my truck is a 1/2ton and can pull my or your trailer if needed.

Riding time: work mon-fri, willing to travel friday nights. If areas are close enough, would like to do day trips.

If you have a spare spot in your group, or are looking for someone to ride with, please let me know.

PM here if you can help a relocated sledder.

You have a long drive for day trips to the Fernie area. It is 3 hours past Calgary. It you want a tour in the southeast corner, let me know. I can pretty much show you around Corbin, Fernie, and/or Elkford.

Yeh 4hrs each way is pushing it for a day trip.

Thanks, and I will take you up on your offer though. I have herd great things about the Elkford and Fernie areas. Your vid page shows that off really well. Would you be ok with another? a fellow lone rider has contacted me on PM here as well.

I will be in contact closer to the riding season.

There are a LOT!!!! of great people on here that will always take singles and or two people out. just post it saying that you would like to hook up and you will always get a group to go with. And Doug (Ferniesnow) is a great guy to show you around. been out with him a couple of time and found some great snow for sure. A 4 hour drive to Fernie after a huge dump is always worth it :twocents:;)

I was a newbie too at one time. I am glad to pay it forward and bring a new guy along.

Give it three rides, you will be addicted ... like the rest of us!

Live just out side of rocky.

Keep a eye out in the red deer suds and buds , and or allways seem to be looking for a rider in my group ( friggin work screws it all up )

Know golden , radium , sica , revy ,

Valemount and McBride ( only a few times but have a internal g.p.s )

Ride the same things as u but the boosted stuff ( too much cash for this guy and would use it to ride more )
