Ive come across a few blown up sleds in valemount...never would i touch someones property like that wrecked or not..this is a sick fugging world boys.

Yeah I hear you man. I've seen guys burn their own fawking sled before too. Who knows maybe the owner sent it down there on purpose.

I don't know how a sled ends up down there anyways. Drunk riding down the trail?? At any rate at least that POS is out of the wilderness.

This springs weather has been really disappointing. Lots of snow though. It was blizzarding up top today!

Get much seat time on that 18 cat?
What's your no BS review on that machine?

Oh I have a little bit of time on it. Anything about it you would like to know specifically?

At the end of the day if you want a 18 mountain sled you only have a few options.

The Mountain Cat 153 would be my second choice. My first choice would be a 18 freeride 154.

It is the same chassis they have been running for years, with a few tweaks and new plastics.

It the past the 800's have had weird bogs and just don't run as smooth as an Etec.
The new direct injection is spot on and runs like a etec, so that is a huge plus over the 17's and older.

The Floats on the demo sled aren't anything special, but the QS-3 shocks on the MNT Cat sound pretty interesting, haven't tried them yet though.

Same old ****ty running boards and bars/ controls. New A-arms are weaker than before. Mountain Cat is losing some weight in the wrong areas IMO
not going to be as tough stock as a 17...

At the end of the day no sled is perfect, but this one only needs a few mods to be dam close.

Like I said my second choice. Might even get one if the price was right.

Just wondering if anything really stood out to you?

Oh and did you have a chance to to ride it in deep snow? How did it compare to your old t3 in terms of getting up and on plane?

A arms are better than bulkheads I guess....
