I tried a few times trying to get a hold of that guy on canadiangunnutz with no luck. I'm glad I went this route.

I got my boy the Henry .22 Mares Leg for xmas. He keeps telling my wife that he wishes Dad had a gun like his. She says to me " I think you should buy one too". Gotta love it when a plan comes together

Go to Wholesale Sports on yellowhead trail in Edmonton and ask for Merv Sword, does custom slings and holsters. Did the sling for my 300RUM and 270 Weatherby. Stamped, airbrushed and laqured padded sling for $140. Nicest slings I have ever seen. A tooled holster for my 357 S&W will be in the $250-300 range. Rifle sling has a moose, elk, mullie, whitetail, calibre and make, acorns, your name and what ever else you can cram on the dam thing for the $140 and is heavy nylon stitched on edge with leather adjusters for length. There are no metal parts on the slings to scratch a collector gun. Fawkin impressive!
At work so can't take a close up pic but there is a pic of the sling in this thread on page 1. He has a catalouge of past slings and holsters if you need help choosing.

Yeah I could see that happening. This one has the shoulder strap and waist strap so you can sling it around your back, haven't played with it to figure it out yet though.
To bad the ranch hands are so heavy, they make your pants fall down. Get some suspenders to go with.

Well guys being that you all got me looking again for ammo for the 32-20, thanks for all the info BTW. I had kinda put it aside looking for it. Then you guys resparked my interest again and I found 150 rounds of it at a local gun smith. HOLY
So i'll get to try it at the range soon. It should be interesting.
Funny how a little hidden out of the way gun smith had some while the big shops didn't and didn't know where to get it.

you can get an xd9 from springfield for about 600. M+P for about the same. Or for about 300ish you can get a rugger 22 or some of the 1911 copies in a .22. it will let you shoot a crap load for cheap

Just picked up my M&P 22 tonight from the grumpy lady at the post office. Pretty excited for this little guy.
