2015 WHATS THE MOST POPULAR SLED? WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO RIDE? AND WHY?

ME PERSONALLY I HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED THE POLARIS LINE UP. I BOUGHT A NEW SLED LAST YEAR THE INDY 550 LXT 144" I THINK IT'S A GREAT SLED. I WANTED SOMETHING I CAN RIDE AND ALSO SOMETHING I CAN TEACH MY TEN YEAR OLD TO RIDE. NEXT YEAR I WANT TO LOOK AT THE RMK ASSAULT. BUT IT WILL HAVE TO WAIT TILL I BUY MY NEW TRUCK LOL ONE TOY A YEAR LOL...

I'd say skidoo hit a home run saleswise with the T3 summit, I did my part and bought one lol. Polaris isn't that far behind either, lots of guys love the pro RMK. I don't know of anyone who snowchecked a cat this year though. There didn't seem to be a lot of attention being given to them even with cat offering a 3" track upgrade.

Ken, a friend of mine is doing the electrical at the cycle works in the east end, and he was told their sled sales were the lowest they have seen in years. This is from a die hard polaris guy too.

went from cat to doo snow checked the 2.5"x 163 it will get me into more trouble than I need. I had the chance to rent one and what a difference from a 2011 cat to a 2014 doo it's such a easy sled to ride. I also got to ride the pro it's a sweet ride and I hope it works for who ever buys one but I found the doo came over a lot easier than the pro and it has a better track record.

believe it or not Arctic cat had the biggest market share in the Edmonton area last year.

if i was to guess this year, my money would be on ski-doo.

even though my money is on Polaris :D

I would suspect you would find a similar difference between the 11 cat and the 14 cat as well, totally different chassis. Based on the hype I would suspect that the T3 is the volume winner for 2015....

I have a 2011 cat and it is the same technology as my 2007 cat was..... not really a fair comparison

Yout have got to be kidding me lol.... Polaris AND ski doo blew the doors right off cat last year in edmonton.... What would make you think Arctic Cat had the biggest market share? Not that I have a problem with thier sleds at all.. They are ALL good product.... But they didnt change anything... Or did thier trail sleds in edmonton outsell all the summits and rmks.... Sorry... not a CHANCE. The only time I pipe up on threads like this is when someone blasts out totally false "facts". People don't need to be reading that crap.

So how come cat seems to be out of the picture, I was tempted to buy a 14 m8000 this year because the price was so good but couldnt bring myself to do it because I havent got to ride one yet! So I bought another XMX! Is it marketing or is cat sleds just not as fun or dont handle as well as the popo and XM? But I have a guy Ill be riding with this year that just bought a 14 m8000 so hopefully ill get to try it and see how she handles!

They aren't out of the picture at all.. They make a great sled! But just like every few years... Other manufacturers come out with somthing new and get to ride the wave of people wanting to try it. Cats day is coming soon im sure of it. They will do something that will blow the other brands out of the water for a while! But it wasn't last year is what i was saying.

i would never have believed it either until i saw the actual statistics.

this included every single snowmobile not just mountain segment.

they were only ahead by about a percentage or two.
