Awesome ! Scale seems accurate if you got 17.8lbs for a stock can. Unreal skidoo got the T3 174 down to 545.6lbs wet weight. T3 163 should be 540.6lbs ready to ride. BRP claimed dry weight to be 464lbs for the 174 and 459lbs for the 163. These values make sense giving a difference of 81.6lbs from dry to wet weight.

And as a side note, MPI 180hp Viper 162 is 640lbs ready to ride. T3 163 is coming in 100lbs lighter.
640 how dose the mpi turbo come in at 60 to 65 pounds? Just the turbo ?

It looks to me like the last pic of the can is kilo's and the other ones are in pounds. Look at the little arrow beside the #. But thanks for the weights though
His post already stated it was in kg and he even nice enough to do the lbs conversion for ya. Stop bitching!

Guess when i read it for the first time it was stating kg. Excuse me. I apologize for having better stuff to do then follow this pointless thread every burning second of my day.

Just wondering wtf does being a sledder or non sledder have to do with being able to read?

He Means The Viper Full of Fuel will weigh very close to 600lbs. I bet that MPI kit is very close to 40lbs. Thats where the 640 comes from. I put a turbo on my XM last year it it gained 34lbs but it was fun! :)

Thats right, the 640lbs is a Viper MPI turbo 153 track (thought it was a 162). The 640lbs comes directly from Yamaha's weigh in from this spring.

2014 M8000 162 full of fluids weighed last year was 556lbs with after market muffler
2014 BDX 800 162 full of fluids and light weight muffler was 557lbs with larger fuel tank full. Subtract 16lbs from the 557lbs for extra fuel.
541lbs with same amount of fuel as stock M8000.

One more to come Caper. Ferniesnow is out on the road right now somewhere beating it home with his new 174 that I delivered to him this afternoon with a weight for everyone. He was gonna off load at a scale and weigh it then load up again and post when home. Should have been back by now though?
