I've seen lots of pics and ideas for drying and storing sled gear in trailers but would love to get ideas for what would go into your dream Sled Gear room in a garage or mud room? We are about to take possession of our dream home in the mountains in Oct which has a 20 x10 foot room directly accessible from the garage that is fully tiled and I would like to set it up right the first time for up to 6 guys to be able to gear up and gear down in comfort plus ensure gear is hung and can dry overnight. What do you think would work best? Couches, benches, shelving, racking or locker style, ideas for venting, separate enclosed space for heating and drying? For sure I'll be adding sound for pre-ride tunes and a TV for "motivational" videos and post-ride reviews plus bevy fridge... All ideas are welcome! I don't have natural gas but thinking I could run 220 and put in one of the box style construction heaters for drying gear when needed. My wife insists on good venting as she knows first hand what stinky sled gear smells like having me and my two boys in the house! Bring it on the ideas! Pics are even better and I commit to posting mine as it comes together. Thanks!

Thanks Ken! After buying our place there won't be any trips to sled riding gurus! Will be too busy collecting pop cans to ensure I can pick that G4 up from you this fall... ha ha!

I'd build some sort of closet that you could hang
all the gear in, have forced air heat and venting to
out side. That way you can crank the heat in
there, have obnoxious air flow and stink goes out side.
built in boot and helmet dryer too.

When we went through there, seemed like ya had to drive a long ways to get to ride ( Cranbrook especially)

Mabe not tho, was looking for fsr roads on google maps

Mabe Nelson is better, but even new Denver and kaslo seemed a ling ways to ride
