Turbo reeds? What's best?

Doing a full rebuild on my 11' assault turbo. Was told to do the reeds annually. So since I am in there thought it would be good to change them out as I can see a bit of light through them. I was told to replace with stock reeds but wanted to see if anyone else has used anything else and how it worked, and how long they lasted (KM) or if they are still running them.

All the folks I've talked to say that the poo reeds stand up the best...
