New or used? Seen a couple cummins powered trucks locally on marketplace in the $45k range that would have been $50-55k a few months ago so maybe some reality returning to the market. Chrysler in Kelowna called me on the weekend offering 1.99% financing on an SUV so much cheaper rates than the banks are offering.

Dealer told my buddy the diesel market to the US is softening up. He has been on the order new and replace every 20,000km program and now he has 2 high end F350 diesels and a new F150. He’s stressed lol

I can't imagine buying a 100k truck at 8% interest. Finance rates right now are nuts.

700 a month in interest. I don't think I've ever had a 700 dollar a month payment!

I sorry to say he is going to eat some money, tell tail sign now gents is go to any dealer now and the lots are now full with trucks and cars,SUV ect. You know the market has turned.I see deals on 2022 trucks which are avaiable after sitting waiting for chips and parts ect. I READ that one of the big three has shut its truck plant down for few months cause there is to much inventory. I believe it was GM cant remember. GM has started to producing trucks in one of there shut down Oshawa plant for the Canadian market. The Canadian truck market is ussually strong but alot of that is based on the USA dollar.

I'm waiting for the GM 2024 HD pricing & will order if the games are over. The train wreck is moving slowly, might have to wait.

I see inventory building with trucks, RV's & power sports.

People need to realize inflation is still going up, 2024 price increases and we’ll likely see a 2nd wave of inflation. Don’t count on a big drop on new HD trucks prices, Ram is way overpriced on MSRP so there’s already rebates on those.

Some deals on motorsports, just picked up a new 2022 CRF 50 today for less than some used ones, dealership has a dozen they want gone.

Seeing some better used prices on 2013+ ram 2500/3500’s like someone else said, but actually seeing less 2020+ dmax for sale.

You are correct. I have been flipping diesel trucks since 2016. Four or five more trades I would’ve got a free truck. I’m currently in a 2022 king ranch F350 long box. I might get crazy money for this truck if I was to sell it but I would also pay Crazzzy interest on a new one. So I will be keeping this truck. I’m sure there is many like me so inventory will back up with the new trucks cause nobody is going to buy them at 10%.

Ordered a 2022 f150 on May 10 2022 that was supposed to be no longer then 4-5 months .
Received truck Feb 10 2023 . 🙄 10 months . Truck was built in August of 2022 but sat waiting on micro chip or chips .
2023’s have increased another 7-8% with less options due to chip shortages.
No heated steering wheel and blah blah .
Silly times
