Hi all,
Today is unusual - at 11:00 this am both McBride & Valemount according to weather network, have light snow - well it is a beautiful clear, calm and sunny day here - it was -25C early this am but is now - 18. McBride report was - 24 and Valemount at -11. Looks like mostly clear and sunny for weekend but colder than expected. Going to Valemount this am - will see if it actually snowed there this am. Hwy 16 was very slippery last night but had no adverse reports today. Will update later.

Just back from Valemount - as suspected - absolutely NO SNOW - not a cloud in the sky - tremendous sunset on mountains - but cold - road good with minor patches of ice - Jasper to here good conditions today ( motorist reports )!
One has to wonder where the weather network gets their info from ???
