Tach stopped working

So I went out for a ride today with my son on my new M8000. I noticed the tach wasn't working. Neither digital or analog gauges would show RPM. It worked fine the last time I had her out. Anybody else have this issue? I'm still under warranty, but hate to drag it in for something simple.

Like the dash is completely dead? Or just the tech won't respond? Never seen that before

Just the tach was reading zero. Everything else was displaying correctly.

I just went and fired it up again after sitting for about an hour, and it was working again. Strange. Anyways, I'll just keep an eye on it next ride I guess.
