im looking into putting an aftermarket skid (174) into my t-apex this summer before the snow flys and is wondering what is a good one to go with ? i only weigh about 165 lbs and am wondering what will keep the front end down on steep climbs and still have decent maneuverability and the more tunable the better IMO.....? ive heard good things about racers edge and ive seen a ton of timbersled skids out there as well, if anybody has any opinions or input they could give to me that would be greatly appreciated.
also on a side note does anyone know if the rails on a 2006 polaris iq rmk 700 151 are supposed to be tipped up at the back, ive heard yes and no from lots of people, trying to decide if they are bent or not. i cant see any stress cracks so i dont know....
