Well, I always wanted to do a desert race, and finally got my wish this past weekend ant the Stumpjumpers 100 in Washington. WOW, what an experience. They bill it as the largest dirt bike race in North America and I can see why. There were at least 600 bikes on my line, and at least that many on the first wave. Two loops of 50 miles each ( I`m over 50, only had to do one loop ). Sage brush, rocks, sand and silt. After the first 2 miles or so the pack thins out, dust isn't that much of an issue, plus it seems there`s a pretty steady wind.
Very well organized, wouldn't bring travel trailer ( dust ), we stayed in Ritzville, about 45 minute drive way. Great scenery, if you can ride Limestone, you will have no problem with this stuff.
