That's definitely one thing they learned from the XM. Those intake screens where a PITA to change.

Why doesn't the sled just come stock with a "heavy duty" filter that is less likely to rip? Why do we have to pay extra for this "accessory" when this was a common issue with the XM's?

Too bad you can't even but these yet cause they're on back order still. Already broke one vent so far

Do yourself a favor and check out extreme air vents.
That's what I did after my first round of screens on my XM. Haven't had a hole in one since.

I've also found that it's easier working around people than with them at times. This would be a a good example of finding a product that works instead of waiting for the manufacturer to "fix" it.
