I'm sure there has to be a clutching expert on here somewhere. Can someone teach me the ins and out of the secondary clutch? What effects does the helix do (steeper or shallower start and finish angle)? Also the spring pressure? What combinations are best for hard packed trail riding and what is best for deep powder? Playing in the trees or climbing?

I've been reading lots of recommendations but no one really explains the mechanics of why they have the setup they have. I'm just trying to wrap my head around how the clutch works so I can better understand what changing the helix or spring will do. I like to hear everyone's recommendation but I also like to understand why.

I have a 2011 pro with PAR 13:1 head. Primary clutch is blue/pink spring and MTX 68 weights. Secondary is stock. Ride mostly 5000-8000' and like to play in the trees.

Thanks for your help.
