oil for 450ES

Was thinking of going full synthetic.Amsoil 20/50.Any thoughts?What are you using???Amsoil states it is perfect for wet clutches.What about RedLine Oils??

I wouldn't use 20w50, my rhino hated it with anything below 10c

I run Amsoil powersports 0w-40 all year round

Yes,forgot too mention the 0/40 .It was of the recommended oils on there site for all conditions(temp)What did'nt you like about the 20/50? I was leaning toward the 20/50 as being better for hot days when running hard.

I wouldn't worry about heat,. guys run the 0w-40 in the desert with over 100f temperatures. 0w will flow better at lower temperatures than the 20w, and they will be almost equal at higher temperatures.

Like I mentioned earlier, when the temps got low the rhino was hard to turn over.

Yes your right,never really thought about the COLD days.Looks like i'll be heading too peavy for some 0/40 tomorrow.Thank's:beer:

Thats what I run in My Honda (0W30 Amsoil)and it runs like a dream !!! I too got it at peavey mart but "Pitstop Performance" in Rimbey has it too ( a little better price) !!:d:d
