Looking for a 50t bottom gear for a summit. If anyone has one let me know. Thanks!
It is possible... 20/51 with 104 on a stock case
T3 it has been done, just can’t remember the gearing. I think it was with a 49 bottom, 106 chain. Don’t remember top gear.
what do you do with the tension arm in the case?

the t3 mentioned had it done twice with totally 2 different gear ratios and 2 different length chains....and it will be done a third time this evening if you get your ass to my garage to give me a hand...going for a 2.5 ratio tonightIt is possible... 20/51 with 104 on a stock case

Now were talking. Consider putting a 19 with the 53. You gonna shake yer head when you ride against a stocker.anyone have a 53 tooth bottom gear?
Does it fit in the case? I have a 51 on there and there's a bit of room left but not sure if it's enough for two more teeth.anyone have a 53 tooth bottom gear?
So what's the big deal???Now were talking. Consider putting a 19 with the 53. You gonna shake yer head when you ride against a stocker.
Isn't the t3174 geared 51 bottom stock??Does it fit in the case? I have a 51 on there and there's a bit of room left but not sure if it's enough for two more teeth.

I thought too low of gearing causes same issues as too high of ratio??
With 2.5 being ideal
