I'm looking for ideas to keep the fuel nozzle clean on my toy hauler. It is stored under the camper, behind the back wheels, in a steel mesh cage and I'm wondering if anyone has any good ideas from keeping dust and gunk out of the nozzle end. I have used a plastic bag to cover it up but am looking for a more permanent and effective way to keep it clean.

If its NPT thread you could just cam lock the nozzle so its quick on off or hydraulic coupler with dust caps

go to your local hydraulics store. They have plastic plugs that you can probably find a good fit and just pop in in the end of the nozzle when not in use.

Mines pretty sealed so it stays kinda clean i just wipe the dust off befor using it, but my dad's trailer is more like yours, he just ties a plastic grocery bag around it when traveling, works and you get lots of them to stockpile.
