was up in that area yesterday, running cut blocks, crossed part of the triangle and there wasn't a track on it, we were running in at least 3 inches of fresh on top of the crust, hip dip if you stepped off sled.

There is great snow on the Swan Hills-Fox Creek leg. Whitecourt-Swan leg is in bad shape
in the area of N and O due to seismic activity. Whitecourt-Fox Creek leg is in great shape.

Agree....Swan Hills to Whitecourt is terrible! We left Athabasca at 10:30AM on Saturday and arrived in Whitecourt at MIDNIGHT. There were a few reasons for it taking so long but the last stretch beat the crap out of us. The plan was to stay at the Quality Inn and ride back on Sunday but 3 of the 5 decided to call it quits and get a lift back to Edmonton. The 2 that were up for it, stayed off the triangle and made it back the next day in 7.5 hours. Again, there were other factors that caused the delay but I would take a different route...power lines or something....it was not fun!!
