Hey folks. Just want to send out a heads up that fire season is upon us. Had at least 3 fires local today.
My son (Crazy C) works with us and was on his way back to shop after a hydrovac job today and saw a fire by the approach to an acerage.
He had half a tank of water and stopped to help. Fire was spreading to stubble field quickly. He ran out all the hose he had and helped the home owner. Soon the local rural fire department and a couple farmers with tractors showed up and the fire was put out with out any major damages.
This is not the first time one of our guys has been in this situation and I am proud of them for stepping up.
On a side note the only one that acknowledge or talked to him was the land owner after it was over.
Seems it was possibly a cigarette that started it.
