I should clarify: grape drink mix from an IMP is not better with your rum ration. May be fine if you mix it up and have ice as opposed to dumping the drink crystals in your canteen cup half full of warm rum.......(Still an effective way to catch a buzz though).

A goodm rum mixed with air is good enough too, but Dr. Pepper or Mtn. Dew are the ticket. Brugal from thebDominican is the best out there if you can get it.

It is funny how Mountain Dew keeps coming up……..

Years ago, like the mid-60's, I was hanging out with a group of UofA dudes and they "had to get into the Scotch mode" for professional reasons. They started mixing Scotch and Mountain Dew……tasted pretty darn good for Scotch!

And then one night, one runs out of Mountain Dew. You guessed it, Scotch and water after that…..
