engine cleaning

OK boys/girls, what is the best way to get rid of that filt and grime that tends to build up on engines. Other than buying a new engine.

i would say use a steam cleaner or pressere washer or of course buy a new sled

I use a toothbrush/rags/qtips and LPS citrus cleaner. Then Mothers aluminum polish on everything you need to shine. On the belly pan; fast orange hand cleaner works great.
