Dometic Refrigerators(fire hazard)

I just recieved a recall issue on the 2 door fridges there is currently a potential issue with 926000 of these frigdes(fire hazard) the units that apply were made April 1997 to Sept 2006 The model numbers are NDR1062 RM2652 RM2662 RM2663 RM2852 RM2862 RM3662 RM3663 RM3862 AND RM3863 It lists the serial numbers The toll free number is 1-800-544-4881 Web site- www2.dometicusa.com/recall.php I called the dealer here in Lloydminster where i bought my trailer and he told me that they had to put in a heat shield and would take a hour to do it Just one more thing the ID tag is inside the fridge The dealer said they dont have to take out the fridge just Hope i have been helpful and not scared the crap out of everyone

hey bigred800.... There is a whole other thread on this subject... Look under tow vehicles, trailer etc........ Lots of info on this there.. I had my trailer done too.
