Considering Turbo Phazer

I'm considering a turbo Phazer for my wife.

She has been riding a 96 Phazer II w/ 136x1.5 paddle track and has been happy with it except for the smoke (it's was mixer) and noise. It was totaled last week so she needs a new ride.

Anybody with experience with the turbo Phazers, can you tell me how they run with the boost turned down and can they be made stock quiet?

How reliable are the phazers on boost?

Can the front end be widened to make it more stable on the trails?

I'd like to turn down the boost for my wife to ride....at least until she gains a little more experience.

Can't turn the super charges down. I heard nothing but negative on the turbo Phazers so bought an '08 Phazer for the wife this past weekend. Kind of sucks to have a 80 hp sled for a backup but of well....I'll just have to keep the Apex away from the big lumber!
