I am trying to decided on what [width ]of track to run this year. I have a 07 mcx 310 apex now w cr 174 tunnel. I currently removed my 162 /16 wide extreme. The reason for thinking 15 wide, my 162 16 wide is shredded along edges from rubbing.Has a rip as well along a edge.I have the m10 cr tunnel plates w the 174 m10 air and cr tunnel.Anyone run the same set up. My only concern is traction on climbing steep slopes ?

I would lke to know the answer too since my 16 inch got the sides beat up before it went snap......going to have to do a track soon, but does the 16" make that much differance over the 15"? I'm only running a 162x2.5!

not 100% sure whos I have but I do have braces inside the tunnel and it makes it tight to the track..... the last guy loved to use rivets that were too long but I went and redid it all with nice allan pan head SS bolts and new stiffiners.......looks great and I will never have a tunnel issue again!

I had to do the same thing. I put nice smooth pan bolts in and never had a problem again.
