The Burns Lake Snowmobile Club will be hosting their 8[SUP]th[/SUP] Annual Cold Smoke Drag Races, February 9[SUP]th[/SUP] and 10[SUP]th[/SUP], 2013, with pre registration on the evening of Friday February 8th. This two day event draws racers from all over the province. Some have travelled from as far as Atlin, Fort St. John, McBride, Prince George, Kamloops and Salmon Arm, just to name a few.
The races are run on Race America lights, providing race result information, Christmas tree starting lights, staging sensors and electronic finish beams. The track is 2 lanes, 500 feet in length with a run out of 1,000 feet. This year the club has lined the track and run out with wood chips to provide additional track performance.
Our site amenities includes large pit and public parking areas, a large warm up building with a concession and seating area, bleachers for the spectators and outdoor washroom facilities.
